Cee-Lo Green has linked up with actor-rocker Jack Black to remake the funk classic “Kung Fu Fighting.” The cover will be the lead single from the soundtrack to Black’s upcoming film Kung Fu Panda. The Gnarls Barkley frontman says, “It was inspiring and an honor to have the opportunity to re-introduce the record to a brand-new audience with a little of me on top.” The cover of “Kung Fu Fighting” is produced by famed production crew The Underdogs and will be released on Interscope Records on June 3rd — but will be available for purchase on I-Tunes a week earlier. Kung Fu Panda opens nationwide on June 6th. –Elle Castro
