Lil Wayne was released on a 10-thousand-dollar bond yesterday after being arrested a day earlier in Puma, Arizona by the Drug Enforcement Agency agents and jailed on felony charges of possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia. The rapper’s tour bus was raided after being stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint, and authorities confiscated 105-grams of marijuana, 29-grams of cocaine and 41-grams of ecstasy pills, as well as 22-thousand dollars in cash and a 40-caliber pistol. Weezy is licensed to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Florida, so authorities are checking to see if the permit carries over into Arizona. Two of Wayne’s associates were also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Lil Wayne is due in court tomorrow. — Elle Castro
