D.O.T a.k.a. Dominic Tasen Okune that‘s me. I‘m Polish/Nigerian n now Canadian. shit i won‘t do it professionally let me improvise besides i know nobody reads it. I‘ll write it fast n simple. I was born in Poland in 1987 (27 February), I spent there most of my short life now I‘m in Canda cuz i decided it‘s time 2 change some things in my existance. I left everything behind me and I started my life from scratch. Music is the way 2 show (You) my emotions. I write what I feel and basically everything what i rap about happend in my life or at least influenced it in someway. My music is based on rap/hip hop/rnb but i also mix it with some disco, jazz, old school, funk and other generes. I know i sound quite different because of my accent. When I was startin‘ with music i thought my accent is a burden.. well now i think that it‘s a gift, besides not 2 many people sound like me. Rap Is my life just like rap is life for hundred of thousands other people. I started writing lyrics and rappin‘ when I was 13, When I was 16 I started makin‘ beats and rappin (but this time usin‘ a microphone). Lo‘ G times were great because it was the time I was learnin‘ (i still am) all the basic things about music productions, haters, supporters. I was learnin things that are related to music. I went thru some unnecessary ( or necessary) beefs but i‘m over it. I was young n dumb. Music should be more about connectin people than separatin‘em. All I want from people is respect for this what I do. I respect people who put their words on to a piece of paper and then they state theirs point of view. Personal opinion is not right and it‘s not wrong. It‘s the way how we live our lives. The conditions in which we were put when we were born. Every circumstance that drives us in good or wrong way. That‘s personal opinion. More important or probably the most important thing in the music is the messege. I think song without deeper messege has no soul (personal opinion). To end it up fast. I‘m music producer, rapper, lyricist and hopefully in 2-3 years I‘ll become certified music engineer. I want to thank everybody who supported me in any way, even those who did it and they (still) don‘t know that.
