Born and bred in Queens New York, DeVaughn Johnson, better known as DV has been apart of the rap game since the age of 13.
DV was born in Queensbridge, New York. He moved to 130 Guy Brewer Blvd, in Jamaica Queens with his mother and father at the age 11. DV’s mother gave him her strong spiritual values and beliefs and his father introduced him to the street game.
DV, after being apart of two rap groups has decided to pursue a solo career. He is working on his first EP entitled 600 Season.
DV has performed in clubs from New York to North Carolina. He attributes his affinity for music to his Father, Leon Harris.
His musical influences are The Temptations and Marvin Gaye. He also has love and respect for Jay-Z, Nas, and Fifty.
