Cavars was born in Chapel Hill, N.C. on December 23, 1981 and was raised in “Blue Sky Shady” Yanceyville, N.C. where he gained his skills of rapping. By the time he was 5 years old Cavars began to record with an old boom box which was one of his 3 brothers. Experimenting with music from the legendary BDP and KRS-1’s beats spitting his on 5 year old flow. Some would say it was his destiny. As a child he would have the chances to listen to hip-hop from its purest form, from the Sugar Hill Gang to NWA, he heard it all at a young age. He once was asked the question “what do you want to be when you grow up?” by a third grade teacher, while everyone else answered Doctors, Layers, his answer in front of his teacher was that he wanted to be a Rapper. In high school Cavars was in the Varsity Band and also played Varsity football, he was frequently in trouble due to his bad temper. In 2000 he began to use a program known to many in the music industry as Fruity Loops 3.5. Cavars was a natural at production on Fruity Loops and over a course of 3 years became well known around “Blue Sky Shady” Yanceyville, N.C. You may ask why Yanceyville, N.C. is referred to as “Blue Sky Shady” is due to the fact black people in Cavars home town where Shady. He was the only child in his family who was raised in N.C. his brother were raised in Washington, D.C. where he spent lots of summers learning more culture so to speak. He attend NCATSU from 2000-2002 after which he dropped out of school to persue his Rap/Producers career.
